Markfed Vanaspati Plant

GSA members visited Markfed Vanaspati & Allied Industries in Khanna, District Ludhiana. The visit focused on gathering key information about the industry’s operations, including the products manufactured, the raw materials used for vanaspati production, the oil-making process, and the status of other vanaspati industries in the region. This visit was an important step towards understanding industry practices and identifying opportunities for promoting healthier production standards.
