At the district level, various capacity-building and coordination activities were conducted across Punjab and Haryana to strengthen NTCP implementation. DLCC meetings were held under the chairpersonship of Deputy Commissioners to enhance interdepartmental coordination. Training workshops sensitized health staff, police officials, and education officers on their roles in tobacco control, with a focus on COTPA enforcement, referral strengthening, and Tobacco-Free Educational Institution (ToFEI) compliance.
